Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3x12 Days, 07:00-19:30; weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility has ability to call off once per pay period (2 weeks)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery RN travel contract position at an Acute Care, MAGNET-designated hospital in Orange, CA. The facility is a large acute care hospital with 426 total staffed beds. Experience in large hospital settings is highly preferred. No first-time travelers will be considered. Travel pairs will not be considered. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. The local radius is 50 miles - please reach out to the Account Manager for the local rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Must be able to circulate

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification required
• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• Pending license: not accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required (Hard Stop)
• Experience in large hospital settings highly preferred

• Scrub color for RNs: Navy Blue; L&D/OR scrubs provided by facility
• Parking: Free
• Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs
• All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of submittal; no RTO requests will be considered after submittal
