If you have mechanical experience and enjoy keeping equipment running safely and efficiently, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work in a stable, full-time position.Schedule:Monday-Friday7:00 AM - 3:30 PMPay: $25.00/hourWhat You'll DoAs a Shop Mechanic, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing essential equipment to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include:Perform preventative maintenance on forklifts, trash trucks, semi-trucks, trailers, and parts trucks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.Diagnose issues and order replacement parts as needed.Replace worn or damaged parts and document all maintenance performed.Track parts used and maintain accurate records of costs.Keep the shop clean, organized, and operating safely.Maintain an organized inventory of parts for easy access.Determine when equipment should be repaired in-house or sent to a dealership.What We're Looking ForPrevious mechanical experience.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.Experience using shop equipment such as welders, drill presses, carbon sensors, and other mechanical tools.Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor shop conditions, including hot, cold, and wet environments.Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.Why Work with Express Employment Professionals?We offer competitive benefits starting on your first day of employment, including:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k)Holiday PayReferral BonusesOregon Sick LeaveScholarship OpportunitiesEqual Opportunity Employer
