If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.## Job Summary:The Senior Metrology Specialist proactively ensures laboratory equipment and instrumentation meet compliance, regulatory, and business requirements while supporting continuity, quality, and operational excellence.## What You'll Be Doing:* Install, qualify, and onboard new laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and associated control software in accordance with SOPs* Perform calibration, verification, preventative maintenance, and lifecycle documentation for validated instrumentation* Troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate vendor support for analytical instruments to minimize downtime* Partner cross‐functionally with Facilities, IT, Quality, and Supply Chain to support infrastructure, inventory, and compliance needs* Develop, maintain, and improve preventative maintenance programs, including risk assessments and gap analyses* Serve as subject matter expert during audits and inspections and support resolution of quality incidents and CAPAs* Train and mentor employees on equipment use, maintenance practices, and metrology procedures## What We Are Looking For:* Bachelor’s Degree or other equivalent combination of education and experience* Four years of experience in a laboratory environment* Hands‐on experience in calibration, verification, and repair of measuring and test equipment* Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel capability* Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree## The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:* Ability to troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment and interpret engineering documentation and schematics* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‐solving skills with attention to detail* Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, lead initiatives, and deliver projects to completion## What We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs.
