We are recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Residential Home in Sheffield. As the new Registered Manager, you will: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Children’s Residential Home, ensuring a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. Lead, motivate and develop a team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and lead the service through inspections. Develop and implement tailored care plans that promote the physical, emotional and educational wellbeing of each child. Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and external professionals. Oversee recruitment, training, supervision and performance management of staff. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are used to best support the needs of the children. Drive continuous improvement through quality assurance, audits and best practice Requirements for this role: Minimum of 2 years' management experience within a Children’s Residential Home during the last 5 years. Experience working within an Ofsted-regulated Children’s Residential setting. Strong understanding of Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve within 2 years). Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Ability to build effective partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders. Full right to work in the UK. About this role: Reports to: Responsible Individual / Senior Leadership Team Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) plus on-call responsibilities. Setting: Small Children’s Residential Home. Focus: Leading a Children’s Residential Home, ensuring compliance, high standards of care and positive outcomes for young people.
