IMEG is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern in Ontario, CA. Over 10-12 weeks, you'll assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of structural systems in buildings and other structures. This paid, mentored internship offers real project work alongside experienced engineers and consultants. You'll support project design, documentation, coordination, and site observations for commercial and institutional work, contributing to sustainable design goals including SE2050. Commercial; Full-time in office, 10-12 week summer program 10-12 week summer program Assist with project design for structural systems in accordance with applicable codes and IMEG standards. · Assist with researching and locating project resources. · Support client relations, project design notebooks, and permanent-record documentation. · Assist with coordinating design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, supplier, and other disciplines. · Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring project design progress. · Assist with reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness before final review. · Conduct periodic job-site observations and provide other services required by the contract services agreement.
