RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - OR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 4 days per week
• Schedule primarily Monday through Friday with possible weekend call shifts
• Participate in 30-minute call back rotation
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Participate in evidence-based practice and performance improvement activities
• Required certifications: RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact), Basic Life Support (BLS), PALS
• Diploma from accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required; direct patient care experience preferred
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
• Basic computer skills and ability to optimize technology for clinical care
