Connect Staffing is hiring a Stator Technician for a manufacturing facility in North Houston, TX. In this role, you will operate stator production equipment, including metal prep machines, adhesive application systems, and rubber injection equipment, to manufacture electric motor stators. Overtime is available with shifts up to 12 hours, 7 days a week.

Pay:$18–$20/hr

Schedule:Night Shift: 5:00 PM–5:30 AM (up to 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week)

Location: North Houston, TX

Job Type:Temp-to-Hire

Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant / Factory

Responsibilities

• You will spend most of your time operating stator production equipment to prepare metal components, apply adhesives, inject rubber, and assemble electric motor stators. You'll also:
• Perform cutback and straightening operations on stator components
• Inspect finished stators to ensure they meet quality standards and productivity goals
• Record production data and maintain accurate paperwork for each shift
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane to move materials and finished products
• Maintain an organized workspace and follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience in stator production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a manual lathe in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience working with stators and rotors, including inspection and handling
• Electric motor or starter repair experience (AC/DC motors)
• Experience with the disassembly and reassembly of electrical and mechanical components
• CNC lathe machine operation experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Excel
• Assembly or cutback operations experience in a manufacturing setting
• Preferred prior job titles: Stator Technician, Motor Technician, Electric Motor Technician, Assembly Technician, Production Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Lathe Operator, Motor Assembler, Electrical Assembler, Rotor Technician

Pre-Employment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently
• Ability to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to work at a fast pace and meet production deadlines
• Steel-toe boots required (employee-provided)
• Drug screen required
• Background check required
• E-Verify / work authorization required
