Our team members also enjoy exclusive benefits, such as:Free Downtown Team Member ParkingDiscounted Monthly Bus PassesFree Team Member Assistance ProgramTeam Member Discounted Hotel Room RatesFun and Free Team Member EventsDiscount Program within Caesars Partner NetworkTuition & Student Loan Debt Repayment AssistanceFirst Time Homebuyer ProgramChild Care Assistance Program401k MatchingAbout The RoleThe Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for arranging emergency transportation and providing medical care safely and efficiently to guests and team members who may require emergent or non-emergent medical service on property.Provides emergency medical care and renders First-Aid/Basic Life Saving treatment to guests and team members when required, within limits of certification.Makes decisions for outside emergency medical response and prepares patient for transport to medical facilities.Assists in coordination of emergency medical situations.Documents and composes Injury/Illness report for each medical incident and collects witness statements when necessary.Reports unsafe or hazardous conditions to leadership.Completes required checklists for inventory and inspections of medical supplies and equipment.Maintains cleanliness of EMS equipment, supplies and treatment areas.Performs all other medical duties as assigned and shall not be utilized in a security function unless permitted as a security officer.Complies with company regulations, policies, and procedures.Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.Maintains a well-groomed appearance which reflects the professional appearance and demeanor of the Security Department.Sets an example to be a role model for all personnel through observance of all departmental policies and procedures.Our Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for this role is empathetic, compassionate, and has a desire to help others. The candidate has a great sense of urgency and able to think quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations. He or she has experience as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).Must be at least 21 years of age to work in a casino.Must possess an active Louisiana EMT Basic license or aboveHigh School diploma or GED required.Minimum 1 year experience as an EMT preferredMust have excellent customer service and communication skillsGood oral and written communication skills including tact when handling challenging guests; must read, write, speak, and understand EnglishA Few More ThingsPhysically mobile with reasonable accommodationsAble to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels and bright lightsMust be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items when necessaryRespond to visual and aural cuesRead, write, speak and understand EnglishOperate in mentally and physically stressful situationsAble to lift maximum of 30 poundsAble to stand or walk for long periods of timeGaming Permit: Not RequiredThe above is a minimal description of duties and responsibilities.
