Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,470 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 21 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position located in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing care for high and low risk antepartum, intra-partum pregnant women, and postpartum patients. The ideal candidate will work with a team that follows AWHONN guidelines and is responsible for managing patient ratios of 1:1 for high-risk cases and approximately 1:2 for others, utilizing advanced fetal monitoring systems and hospital technology. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, Sunday through Saturday, with a weekend rotation every other week and on-call responsibilities aligned with scheduled shifts. Required Qualifications: Licensure in BLS, NRP, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM); BLS and CST certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing; current licensure to practice in Washington. Support on the Unit: No Certified Nursing Assistants; Obstetrics scrub and recovery assistance for vaginal deliveries; 24/7 charge nurse on duty; laboratory services available as needed; resource RN support not specified; hospitalist and RT available, with NICU support; telemetry monitoring includes centralized fetal monitoring, tele-efm, and cardiac telemetry; technology includes EMR system EPIC, Baxter IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, and GE/Centricity fetal monitoring systems. Float: Float rotation may be required to postpartum and neonatal intensive care units for level 2 newborns. Additional Information: Scrub uniforms are dark blue provided by the hospital. Parking is free in designated areas. The orientation period typically involves 2-3 shifts depending on RN competency. The assignment begins on 08/24/2026 with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.
