PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY

Job Description Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital is seeking a pediatric cardiologist to further develop its busy and dynamic outpatient pediatric cardiology and fetal program. The ideal candidate should be BE/BC in pediatric cardiology and be able to collaborate effectively with a team of cardiac specialists within the division as well as other in‑house and community‑based providers. The position will be primarily focused on outpatient care including consultation, diagnostics, and longitudinal management of children with congenital and acquired heart disease. In addition, the cardiologist will provide general inpatient cardiology service coverage. Opportunities exist to work alongside other cardiology subspecialties (including EP, interventional, advanced heart failure/transplant, adult congenital, and advanced imaging) and to develop collaborative relationships with referring community providers and general pediatricians. The outpatient cardiologist will participate in the evaluation and longitudinal follow‑up of patients in various subspecialty cardiology clinics and contribute to program development efforts aimed at expanding access and care for children across the region. Academic engagement opportunities may be available, depending on the candidate’s interests. Key Qualifications Board‑eligible/board‑certified (BE/BC) in pediatric cardiology.
