Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Required RN license Certifications: ACLS AWHONN BLS NRP PALS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Previous experience in OB, labor and delivery, and nursery required. Experience in pre-transition newborn care is essential. Description: The responsibilities include labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn nursery care. The position requires care for newborns prior to transition. Candidate must have experience in intrapartum and postpartum care. Knowledge of nursery care is also required. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude. Required certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment. All clinical staff must comply with state regulations prior to the assignment start date. The unit typically serves a diverse patient population across all age groups. Patient ratios include 1:1 for laboring individuals, in a couplet care unit. Flexibility to float to other areas may be needed as required. The dress code permits any color scrubs, with non-facility associated attire considered unacceptable.
