About the Role:

Kendall Eye Institute Inc is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Representative to be the welcoming face of our practice in Miami, FL. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team of eye care professionals and make a meaningful impact on every patient's experience from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays and patient payments
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and demographic information
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office
• Handle administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and managing correspondence

Requirements:

• Prior front desk, medical receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
• Experience in an ophthalmology or medical office setting is a plus
• Familiarity with medical insurance verification and billing processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred (Miami market)
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and customer service skills
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused demeanor
