Job Description
A Dump Truck Driver plays a crucial role in transporting materials safely and efficiently, primarily operating on local routes while working independently. This position requires daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness, with minimal travel outside the assigned area.
Responsibilities
- Operate dump truck safely on local routes
- Manage loading and unloading of materials
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently
- Comply with all safety regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections
- Coordinate basic maintenance and report issues
- Manage time to meet delivery schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level truck driving experience
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Knowledge of commercial driving and vehicle inspection
- Proficient in route planning and safety compliance
- Strong time management and communication skills
