Totally About Houses (TAH), a fast-growing real estate brokerage based in Louisville, KY, is hiring an experienced, service- and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Officer to join our in-house lending team. We believe in removing obstacles and creating a supportive environment for you to thrive in. If you have a proven track record of creating lending solutions for clients, we'd love to have you on our team.

This LO will work hand-in-hand with TAH's team of realtors from day one — you won't be cold-prospecting for business. Warm leads and buyer/seller referrals are provided directly from our in-house agents, giving you a built-in pipeline to convert.

Compensation: $12,000/year base salary (in-office role) plus commission. Our average Loan Officer earns approximately $100,000/year in commission alone, on top of base. Please apply today!

$100,000 - $130,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
• Work closely with borrowers, loan officers, title companies/attorneys, or insurance companies to gather and prepare all documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements
• Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
• Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision
• Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large

Qualifications:

• Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Current NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelines
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
• Banking, business, real estate, or related Bachelor’s degree required
