Registered Nurse (RN)

Novant Health seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care in our Healthcare & Medical Services department. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes in condition Document care and communicate effectively using EHR systems Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and infection control standards Participate in quality improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives Support a culture of diversity, respect, and personalized patient care Precept or mentor less experienced staff as needed Key Competencies Patient assessment Care planning IV therapy Medication administration Electronic Health Records (EHR) Wound care Telemetry monitoring Care coordination Patient and family education Infection control Qualifications & Certifications Active RN license in state of practice BLS certification ACLS preferred Specialty certification (e.g., CCRN, PCCN, or Med‑Surg) preferred EHR proficiency (e.g., Epic) Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) #J-18808-Ljbffr
