Systems Integration Engineer

Position Description:As a Systems Integration Engineer, the successful candidate will design, implement and validate vehicle electrical systems by reviewing and approving device transmittals, developing vehicle-level logical schematics, conducting design/compatibility reviews, defining fusing and grounding strategies, supporting system-level validation/diagnostics, providing technical support for prototype and pre-production builds. You will also perform System Level tests for ECU integration by flashing ECU software and calibration files, performing configuraiton, commanding and analyzing self-test results, and performing functional tests.Skills Required:Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Wiring, Root Cause Analysis Electrical EngineeringMust have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or Master's). Root Cause AnalysisMust demonstrate the ability to understand causal effects and establish a structured approach to identify and validate potential causes for that undesirable behavior.Experience Required:Design/Develop program specific electrical system schematics Support electrical device transmittal process: BSEM GDT Set-up, Create DT Status Report Develop program specific system FMEA and DVP (Validation Plans) Prototype Breadboards (parts list development & sign-off, validation, sign-off) Prototype Vehicle Builds (Yellowboard software flashing and configuration, functional sign-off, & troubleshooting) Lead compatibility reviews to verify all module and wiring interfaces Support builds at production plantElectrical schematics design CAN Network ECU software flashing and diagnostics Root Cause AnalysisEducation Required:Bachelor's DegreeHybrid (4 days per week in the office / Can be 5-6 days depending on prototype and launch build needs.
