Diesel Technician (Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm)

Diesel Technician Location: Arcadia, WI Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm We are seeking a skilled DieselTechnician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing our fleet of trailers to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations. Key Responsibilities * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trailers including brakes, lights, tires, and suspension systems

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct DOT inspections and ensure all trailers meet safety and compliance

standards

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Replace and repair trailer doors, hinges, flooring, and other structural

components * Service and repair refrigeration units on temperature-controlled trailers (if applicable) * Collaborate with transportation team to prioritize repair schedules and minimize downtime Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in trailer maintenance and repair preferred
• Strong knowledge of air brake systems, electrical systems, and trailer

components

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with diesel engine diagnostics and repair
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and

schematics

• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
• Understanding of preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
