Electrical Maintenance Technician

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Trustworthy, motivated self‑starter capable of working independently or as part of a team. Take personal ownership and pride in quality of work and attention to detail. System troubleshooting and repair on electrical motors, three‑phase controls, pneumatic systems, waterjet, laser, CNC machines, abrasive blasting equipment, welders, overhead cranes, forklifts, manlifts, etc. Primary focus on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery. Diagnose and repair electronic circuit boards to component level. Assist in facilities management and maintenance. Assist in IT department, networking & systems configuration, and installation. Participate in new equipment & systems integration and installation. Adjust and repair electronically controlled devices, PLC programming. Operate manufacturing and other shop equipment. Perform any other assigned duties. QUALIFICATIONS Experience with 3‑phase and single‑phase power distribution. Associate Degree or technical institute required. Comfortable working in/on scissor lifts and boom lifts to 35’. Experience with industrial overhead cranes and crane controls. Experience with forklift repair, MIG welders, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, general building maintenance, and basic CNC machine troubleshooting. Ability to operate forklift, snowplow, skid steer, etc. Ability to read hydraulic and electrical blueprints. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities. Experience with personal computers, networking, and Windows‑based software. Proficiency with precision measuring equipment. Availability for overtime as needed. Valid driver’s license. Compliance with all safety requirements. Good housekeeping habits and strict adherence to safety. Willingness to assist in other areas as needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT Works in a plant or manufacturing environment that involves use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
