Pay: $2,276.64 per week


Shifts: Nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This role requires expertise in adult ICU settings, where the therapist will operate in critical, non-critical, and chronically ill environments, primarily focused on respiratory care.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist
  • Respond to emergency situations (Code Blue and White)
  • Conduct airway management including nasotracheal and endotracheal suctioning
  • Administer aerosolized drugs
  • Manage ventilators including setup and operation
  • Perform oral hygiene and maintain airway retaining devices
  • Manage airway support devices such as BiPAP and CPAP
  • Monitor and deliver oxygen therapy
  • Analyze chest films and blood gas samples
  • Conduct EKG analysis and ensure accurate documentation
  • Maintain and stock equipment and supplies
  • Participate in CAP and JC surveys
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist
  • RT or RCP License in the state of employment required
  • BLS Certification via AHA required
  • ACLS Certification via AHA required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
  • Must have adult ICU experience
