Our client, a dynamic and growing organization in Farmington, CT , is seeking an experienced and motivated HR Recruiter to join their Human Resources team on a contract-to-hire basis . The ideal candidate will have full-cycle recruiting experience, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
• Create and post job advertisements across various job boards and recruiting platforms
• Proactively source passive and active candidates through online tools, networking, referrals, and other recruiting methods
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
• Maintain and update candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Extend offers and coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks and onboarding activities
• Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
• Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to management
• Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting for a variety of positions and skill levels
• Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate assessment skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple openings and prioritize competing deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in corporate, agency, or high-volume recruiting environments
• Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting best practices
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar sourcing tools
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus
