Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $73,537.70 - $84,568.36

Work Location: In person

Immediately hiring one Head Start Director to oversee the Monroe County Head Start Program to ensure it meets quality, regulatory, and client service expectations. This role involves managing the program’s strategic planning, staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards. Additionally, the Head Start Director ensures that all spending aligns with grant requirements and prepares reports for various stakeholders. Compliance and quality assurance are central to the role, requiring regular assessments and adherence to Head Start Performance Standards. This position oversees curriculum implementation to ensure it is age-appropriate and culturally responsive. This position will also collect data to track program outcomes and compliance for continuous improvement. Lastly, this role supervises the Education Manager and Education Coordinators and is accountable to the PSFC Board of Directors and Policy Council.

Required:

• Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Prefer at least 5 years of successful supervision and leadership within a Head Start or non-profit agency.
