Asset Protection Associate - All DC/FC Location: Edgerton, KS Address: 30801 W 191st St, Edgerton, KS 66030-9510 Position Summary Shift: AP S1 Shift Responsibilities Supports facility security staff. Monitors and maintains access control equipment. Presents knowledge of asset protection policies, practices, environmental health and safety laws, and regulations. Conducts and reviews safety and food safety audits, creates audit reports, and performs daily building inspections. Addresses employee health and safety hazards, maintains emergency response personnel directory, summons emergency services, and supports compliance with OSHA guidelines. Collaborates with stakeholders, updates processes, resolves business issues, and supports implementation of policy changes. Collects, interprets, analyzes, and reports data, leveraging technology to support transactional activities. Supports training initiatives, manages feedback mechanisms, and facilitates delivery of training programs. Communicates strategically, presents and influences business partners, and proactively builds professional networks. Participates in process improvement activities, root cause analysis, and incident investigations. Manages environmental protection responsibilities, addressing regulatory inquiries and promoting environmental initiatives. Ensures compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity, completing work assignments aligned with organizational standards. Qualifications Minimum 6 months experience as a Walmart associate or 1 year of relevant work experience or coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention/asset protection, safety, compliance, or security‑related field. Preferred experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Compensation Hourly wage range: $22.55 - $26.05, plus applicable premiums ($0.35 to $3.00 per hour) based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
