You don’t wait for complaints. You fix it before anyone realizes there was a problem. That instinct defines this role. 2 Hour Learning runs premium K–12 campuses where families expect an environment that is safe, reliable, and visitor‑ready every day — not just when events are scheduled. You’ll maintain that expectation across the Northwest: anchored at the San Francisco Bay Area campus, with consistent travel to locations in CA, WA, NV, UT, OR, and ID. Your work determines whether a campus maintains its premium standard or quietly deteriorates between leadership visits. Year one focuses on establishing standards and vendor accountability — defining what “ready” means, building the audit rhythm, replacing underperforming vendors, and training Campus Coordinators and Site Specialists to follow a consistent operational routine. As the region expands and your systems mature, the role evolves into regional operational leadership: you become the expert the network relies on when launching a new campus, responding to emergencies, or revising operational standards. This is a hands‑on field role. If you prefer managing remotely through reports, this isn’t the right fit. If you want direct responsibility for ensuring 25+ schools maintain a premium feel every day — and the authority to deliver that outcome — read on. What You Will Be Doing Executing scheduled on‑site inspections across Northwest campuses against documented standards covering cleanliness, HVAC, safety, security, signage, landscaping, furniture, and visitor‑readiness — and ensuring findings result in verified corrective actions Responding to facilities issues and emergencies, coordinating vendors, and closing tickets only after confirming problems are resolved (urgent within 24 hours, routine within 1 week) Overseeing local vendor performance against SLAs, removing vendors who consistently fail to meet expectations, renegotiating contracts, and conducting direct accountability discussions on quality and cost Establishing a weekly operational rhythm with Campus Coordinators and Site Specialists to ensure each campus follows consistent procedures rather than relying on individual effort Overseeing major campus improvement projects (HVAC upgrades, interior updates, landscaping, AV/networking) on time and within budget, minimizing student disruption Documenting global standards and AI‑powered procurement processes (leveraging ticketing systems, IoT/predictive maintenance platforms, and centralized sourcing) to ensure uniform campus launch and operation Delivering concise weekly written reports covering regional quality, vendor performance, escalations, and CapEx variance What You Won’t Be Doing Operating remotely through dashboards — this role demands regular in‑person presence at the Bay Area campus and 30–50% travel to regional sites throughout CA, WA, NV, UT, OR, and ID Designing new campuses from the ground up or managing ground‑up construction projects — capital expansion is handled by a separate team Developing enterprise‑wide procurement strategy disconnected from field operations — your standards emerge from direct site observation Working within clean organizational hierarchies with formal authority over everyone whose work affects your outcomes — you’ll create accountability through clarity, documented follow‑up, and rejection of ambiguous vendor commitments Treating “visitor‑ready only during leadership visits” as acceptable — recurring problems get root‑cause analysis, not repeated tickets Defaulting to reactive crisis management — the audit schedule and predictive maintenance platforms exist to identify failures before they generate complaints Key Responsibilities Maintain every Northwest region campus as safe, premium, and visitor‑ready every single day. Basic Requirements Located in the San Francisco Bay Area (strongly preferred) — or elsewhere in the Northwest: CA, WA, NV, UT, OR, or ID — prepared to work primarily from the Bay Area campus with 30–50% regional travel Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship 5+ years managing multi‑site facilities, regional operations, hospitality operations, retail operations, or school operations Documented success holding vendor‑managed services accountable for quality, cost, and SLA compliance across multiple sites Hands‑on experience addressing urgent facilities problems (safety, HVAC, security, cleanliness) with measurable customer‑experience outcomes Strong written operational discipline: issue tracking, escalation documentation, vendor follow‑up, weekly regional quality reporting Proven use of modern operations platforms (ticketing systems, IoT/predictive maintenance, AI‑assisted procurement or planning) Nice‑to‑have Requirements Multi‑site operational leadership in premium hospitality, luxury retail, private K–12, or healthcare networks serving demanding customers Experience building or rehabilitating a regional operations model previously dependent on individual effort rather than documented standards History of removing underperforming vendors and developing a reliable local vendor network Background overseeing capital improvement projects (HVAC, AV/networking, landscaping, interior updates) in occupied, customer‑facing facilities Experience operating in an AI‑first environment where playbooks, dashboards, and predictive systems handle routine tasks so people concentrate on decision‑making Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position.
