Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an integral part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth functioning of machinery and facility systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Monroe, MI

Pay Range: $28 - $30

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Inspect equipment, check operating conditions, and log repairs needed
• Perform maintenance jobs as requested to ensure optimal operation
• Complete routine preventive maintenance and install new equipment
• Assist with piping, electrical wiring, and physical preparation for facility modifications
• Conduct welding assignments and plumbing repairs, including toilet backups

What's Needed?

• Technical degree or 3-5 years of related experience preferred
• Experience with maintenance tools and equipment such as hoists, jacks, mills, lathes, drill presses, welders, band saws, forklifts, aerial platforms, grinders, cranes, and hand tools
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Excellent safety awareness and effective communication skills
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
