Field Service Technician

This position will be responsible for direct support of Rainin's On-Site service program. The Field Service Technician works at customer sites within a defined geographic region servicing and calibrating Rainin and other brands of pipettes. Conducts mechanical and electronic measuring, recording, and inspection on pipettes serviced to ensure conformance to established specifications. Responsibilities Follow the daily service visits schedule through careful coordination with the Area Service Leader. Drive to customer sites to provide onsite pipette service according to the service schedule, including use of personal vehicle when needed. While on site at customer facilities, provide pipette repair and calibration services. Represent Rainin to customers in a professional and positive manner. Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a small team. Complete service reports and expense reports and maintain service equipment and parts inventory. Provide Rainin Sales with customer leads for potential new product purchases. When available, assist in Service Center production activities as assigned by the Area Service Leader. Travel out of local area of up to 50% of the time required to support the business, including overnight travel up to 25% of the time. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mettler Toledo AG
