Position Details Location: Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.00 (actual pay dependent upon experience) Position Overview Provide nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and delivering physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. Key Responsibilities Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and coordinating with other healthcare providers. Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, examining patients, documenting status, and establishing objectives. Teach healthcare requirements and provide instruction to patients, families, and friends. Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes, and re‑evaluating objectives. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment by adhering to infection‑control policies, medication administration procedures, and legal regulations. Document patient care services by charting in records. Maintain patient care equipment and supplies, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the specified hours and perform each essential job function, including visual acuity required for duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience Registered Nurse (RN) – Board of Nursing. An active license in the state of practice (upon hire). Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience 1‑3 years of experience working in a clinical environment.
