Through our core values we have created an environment that is inclusive, fun, and welcoming for everyone.The Swish Dental team is looking for a highly motivated Lead RDA to join our team.Why You'll Love Swish DentalOur career opportunities come with great benefits including:Competitive salaryMonthly Bonus opportunityNo weekendsMedical, vision, & dental benefitsShort-term disabilityPaid holidays and time offAnd more!Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during a variety of treatment proceduresPerform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scansDocument baseline patient informationPrepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient roomsProvide exceptional patient care throughout their visitTake impressions of patients' teethCommunicate effectively and efficientlyMaintain a "team first" and "patient first" mentalityContinuously increase knowledge and job skillsAdhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards including OSHA, HIPAA, and Texas Dental BoardProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresTeach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral healthPerform various studio tasks that often require the use of a computerPerform duties in accordance with practice policiesReview the schedule throughout the dayEnsure the back studio is running smoothlyKeep track of inventory and place orders when supplies are lowWork closely with the studio managerTroubleshoot equipment problems and contact the tech team to fix any issuesProvide additional support and training when needed to the back studio staffSkills and AbilitiesFluent in English; verbal and writtenFamiliarity with dental terminologyBasic computer skillsWillingness to cover shifts at locations not typically assignedAbility to travel to other locations as neededStrong interpersonal skillsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCertificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course requiredTexas Registered Dental Assistant License requiredCPR and/or BLS certification required1+ years of experience as a lead RDA or similar experience requiredPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThis position may be required to sit or stand for long periodsThis position may be required to work more than 40 hours per weekThis position is in a clinical studio environment which can be noisy and distractingThis position may be exposed to infectious diseases and/or blood borne pathogensThis position may be required to handle sharp objectsThis position may be exposed to harmful chemicals and/or gassesThis position may be required to communicate with others to exchange informationThis position may require repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersThis position may require the operation of machinery and/or power toolsThis position may require the assessment of the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assignedThis position may require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spacesThis position may require medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 poundsSwish Dental is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
