The Drain Cleaner performs residential service calls as a solo technician, inspecting drains, removing clogs, cleaning sewer lines, and repairing pipes. This role also documents completed work through basic work orders, customer recommendations, photo and video records, and detailed inspection reports. Advancement opportunities include Senior Technician, Lead Technician, Service Manager, and a plumbing license pathway.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential drains and identify blockages or pipe issues.
• Remove clogs using appropriate drain-cleaning methods and tools.
• Clean sewer lines and restore proper drainage.
• Repair damaged or compromised pipes.
• Complete residential service calls independently as a solo technician.
• Prepare basic work orders and detailed inspection reports after each call.
• Provide customers with service recommendations.
• Capture photo and video records of completed work and identified conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of drain-cleaning experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using plumbing tools.
• Knowledge of pipe repair and drain snaking.
• Understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina to perform drain-cleaning and pipe-repair work.
