Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother-Baby unit with 4 L&D beds, 1 triage bed, and 4 postpartum beds
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin, and D10 per physician orders and unit protocols
• Independently read and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) strips using the OBIX system; no monitor techs on unit
• Assist with and support C-section cases in the on-unit OR suite as needed
• Participate in rotating call, weekend, and holiday scheduling requirements per unit policy
• Collaborate within a small team environment (minimum 2–3 RNs per shift); charge nurse carries a patient assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
• STABLE certification
• Demonstrated experience in an LDRP setting, including drip titration

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing high-acuity obstetric patients including those with high BMI, diabetes, or substance use disorders
• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing guidelines and ratio standards
• Experience with bubble CPAP equipment in a labor and delivery or postpartum setting
