Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Active PTA license in North Carolina or compact license required.
• Home Health experience required.
• HCHB experience required.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Shift Days: Monday through Friday.
• On-call: Not required.
• Productivity Requirement: 32 visits per week.
• Coverage area includes Currituck and Dare counties.

Manteo offers access to the Roanoke Island Festival Park and the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, both within about 10 minutes of central town. The town sits along the Roanoke Sound and is about 20 minutes from the beaches of Nags Head and Jockey's Ridge State Park, a destination known for hiking and hang gliding. Outdoor recreation is a strong fit here, with nearby fishing charters from Shallowbag Bay and kayaking routes through the Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge roughly 35 to 45 minutes away.
