Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Location: West Side

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; occasional overtime or weekend shifts as needed

Job Summary:

Client in the West Side is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative (CSR). In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between warehouse operations and customers, ensuring accurate and timely communication, resolving issues, and supporting the fulfillment and delivery process. Your work will help ensure customer satisfaction and smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, shipments, inventory, and returns.

• Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person to provide order updates, resolve issues, and answer questions.

• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.

• Track shipments and proactively communicate any delays or issues to customers.

• Process and manage customer returns, exchanges, and complaints according to company policies.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and service requests in ERP, CRM, or other company systems.

• Assist with inventory checks, order discrepancies, and stock availability inquiries.

• Collaborate with sales, logistics, quality control, and other departments to resolve customer issues efficiently.

• Help maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety and warehouse procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1+ year of customer service experience.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with email, phone systems, and basic office software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including periods of standing and walking and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

• Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes.
