Our commitment to excellence, supported by Globus' renowned engineering, drives our mission to advance patient care and medical innovation through precise and efficient allograft processing and distribution.The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing human tissue processing activities in accordance with FDA regulations, AATB Standards and SOPs.Essential Functions:Prepares sections of human tissue for surgical implantationUtilizes special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to evaluate, cut, shape, grind and package tissue to exacting specifications and protocolsAccurately completes paperwork and performs data entry when applicablePerforms Lab Support functions of the set-up and breakdown of rooms and handling of donor tissue (passing in) using aseptic technique and maintaining sterile fieldsMaintains supplies and equipment on a daily basisUnderstands and properly handles disposal of Biohazardous and Non-Biohazardous wastePerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorAdheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policiesEnsures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your roleRepresents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties of GlobusReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Qualifications:High school diploma/GED preferred, or 1 years related work experience1 year of manufacturing experience, working in an aseptic/sterile environment and/or Tissue Processing or operating room preferredExperience with the use of precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers and operation of electrical and pneumatic cutting, drilling, and routing equipmentExcellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to understand and communicate (speak, read & write) in EnglishMust have basic computer knowledge skillsDemonstrated organization skills and attention to detailFlexible in working hoursPhysical Demands:Required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlRequired to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 poundsRequired to possess specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and capacity to adjust focusOur Values :Passionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
