Young n' Royal Children's Dentistry is hiring a knowledgeable dental assistant who loves to work with children and desires to make a positive impact in their lives! Qualifications:
- Dental Assisting Certification required
- 1 year+ experience preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments
- Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish, beneficial but not required.
Job description:
- Perform routine dental cleanings and assist with operative procedures
- Take digital x-rays
- Assist in maintaining dental records
- Prepare examination/operative rooms, sterilize all instruments according to OSHA guidelines.
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling)
- Help other areas of office when necessary (answering phones, scheduling appointments)
- Have fun and smile!
