Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this position, you'll work onsite 2-3 days per week throughout the 2026–2027 school year, offering flexibility while maintaining consistency for students in need of your expertise.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license for the state of Virginia, or eligibility to obtain before the start date
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborative mindset for working within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students’ physical therapy needs
• Design and implement targeted intervention plans, striving for measurable growth
• Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of physical and developmental challenges
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed, maintaining clear documentation
• Communicate goals, progress, and strategies with families, teachers, and staff
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insight and advocating for student needs
• Foster an encouraging and supportive environment that enables each child to thrive
