Production Supervisor

Team LeadThe specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience and location.A Day in the LifeAs Team Lead you will lead a crew of employees in servicing and repairing modular buildings. Coordinate and prioritize work schedule for production crew, assign modular mechanics and general maintenance employees. Verify quality according to our standards.What You'll DoCoordinate and prioritize work schedule for production crew, assign modular mechanics tasks, learn/train as needed, and verify quality according to our standards.Perform preventative maintenance and construction on modular buildings to include, but not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, and cleaning.Monitor the work of team members to meet productivity, quality and safety requirementsEnsure team maintains tools, supplies and work area consistent with the area's 6S checklistActively participate in safety meetings and safety training of crew members. Carry out current industry safety practices to include knowledge of OSHA requirements. Conduct daily and weekly safety audits and document resultsProvide continuous training of crew members and new employees; coaches and counsels team members as needed with regards to responsibilities of their positionsAct as a backfill for other leaders when necessaryWork schedule Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-11:00amPerform other duties as assignedMust HavesPrior experience of at least 4-6 years in the construction or related industry performing and leading general construction trades required.Prior experience with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other specialties preferredAble to effectively lead a team and offer guidance and direction. Prior experience overseeing the work of a team of at least 6 employees desiredAble to read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and Company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans providedAbility to use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelinesAbility to safely perform all tasks and understand Company's safety policies and proceduresDeliver a high-quality output consistent with the Company's construction standardsAble to take, record and follow standard measurements and cut or separate materials to specific measurements or quantitiesAble to read Company's construction documents (provided in English) and provide guidance to construction team to complete necessary workAbility and desire to learn new computer programs and systems, including internal and Microsoft Suite based applicationsAble to work outside in variable weather conditionsValid Driver's LicenseNice to HavesAbility to complete material and labor take offs from blueprints a plusKnowledge of current building codes to include 2016 CBC and 2018 IBC and ADA a plus.Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is a plusKnowledge of LEAN a plusSpecial Considerations:Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold or lift a variety of objectsAble to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder and other manual labor activitiesPerksDailyPay Available!!
