Registered Nurse - Operating Room (General Surgery)

Location: Minot, ND

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shifts would vary between 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM. Call is required for one weekday per week and parts of 1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Operating Room within a level 2 trauma center. The candidate must be capable of handling various surgical specialties, excluding Cardiothoracic and Neurosurgery.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the operating room environment.
• Assist with the preparation and administration of surgical procedures.
• Function effectively in a surgical team setting while ensuring optimal patient care.
• Utilize Cerner for electronic documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with no hits.
• Strong travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner documentation systems is required.
• Ability to operate across all specialties in the OR, except specified exclusions.
