Manager, Health Care Consulting Group The role focuses on client service projects related to hospitals, medical centers, physician practices, government entities, and accountable care organizations. Responsibilities include supervising senior staff, managing multiple client projects, and leading complex healthcare consulting engagements. What Work You Will Be Responsible For: Lead and manage healthcare consulting engagements; serve as primary client contact and manage engagement teams through all phases, delivering scope, schedule, and budget. Advise healthcare clients on revenue cycle operations, assess and improve RCM performance to enhance reimbursement, reduce denials, and decrease days in A/R. Lead RCM transformation initiatives, including workflow redesign, technology implementation, vendor optimization, and performance measurement using dashboards and key metrics. Digital Health, EHR Workflow Optimization & Health IT Risk Assess Epic and/or Cerner-enabled workflows to identify operational friction, control gaps, and technology-related risks. Translate qualitative findings and quantitative data into executive-ready insights and improvement opportunities. Partner with IT, informatics, and operational leaders to implement workflow, configuration, and governance improvements aligned to regulatory expectations and best practices. Data, Analytics & AI Governance Support clients in establishing data/AI governance frameworks to enable safe, compliant, and scalable adoption. Define performance metrics and monitoring plans for AI tools, translating findings into workflow and policy recommendations. Digital Strategy, Client Delivery & Practice Growth Develop digital and operational strategies and implementation roadmaps; produce executive-ready deliverables and actionable recommendations supported by data. Support business development by building a growth pipeline, gathering referrals, and contributing to proposals and negotiations. Partner with leaders to assess challenges, align strategy, and co-design solutions; maintain timely communication with client and firm leadership. May be required to work extended hours and travel to/from different offices and client locations (travel up to 3075%). Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field. 2+ years in a management or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex projects. 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare consulting, digital transformation, strategy, operations, or financial performance improvement. Experience leading technology-enabled operating model, process, or performance improvement initiatives. Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Ability to travel based on engagement needs (typically up to 6075%). Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, MS, or equivalent). Experience in digital health and/or health IT initiatives, including workflow redesign and implementation support. Experience with Epic, Cerner, or other clinical/operational platforms; familiarity with CMS SAFER Guides a plus. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory, privacy, and risk considerations for digital programs.
