About the Role
TruVolt Electric is looking for a dependable and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our growing team in Michiana. We specialize in high-quality electrical solutions for our residential, commercial and municipal clients. What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and code specifications
- Diagnoses and troubleshooting electrical issues
- Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
- Collaborate with apprentices and other team members on job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You Bring
- Proven experience an electrician (minimum 4 years preferred) in the following areas:
- Conduit bending and installation
- Motor and Pump wiring
- Installation of various high voltage and low voltage control panels
- Single phase and three phase electrical systems
- Hazardous locations, including explosion proof installations
- Technical circuitry and wire installations
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule & Perks
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Occasional overtime may be available
- Tool allowance and PPE provided
- Company vehicle available for qualifying roles
