Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) - Long Term Care
This is a 13-week contract position.
8-Hour Shift, Days, 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM, Every Other Weekend.
The Floor Nurse (RN/LPN) plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to residents in a Long Term Care setting. The position involves a variety of nursing duties and responsibilities, ensuring that patient care and well-being are prioritized in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vitals, including blood glucose and oxygen levels.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform wound care and monitor wound healing.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate charting.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including PT, OT, SLP, and case managers.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- BLS certification required.
- Prior experience using PCC EMR is preferred.
- Experience in wound measurement and care.
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in the relevant state.
