Nurse - Medical Surgical

SCHEDULE
Shift: 12hr Nights
Schedule: 1900-0730 Varies

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly

REQUIREMENTS
- Min 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Required: AHA BLS & NIH Certification
- Preferred: ACLS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide patient care in a medical surgical unit, focusing on postoperative recovery and orthopedic care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Execute nursing procedures and interventions as per care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
