Travel Physical Therapist - $2,164 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Decatur, Alabama. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications BLS certification State-specific licensing Minimum 6 months experience (new grads encouraged to apply) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Compensation and Benefits Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
