Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist

Location: Lubbock, TX
Duration: 26 Weeks
Pay Rate: $64 – $73/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 30 Hours/Week
Shift: Night Shift (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off | 3–4 x 10-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to join a pediatric hospital pharmacy team in an acute care setting. The Pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services, medication management, and interdisciplinary support while ensuring safe and effective pharmacotherapy for pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
Provide clinical pharmacy support across inpatient units
Monitor medication therapies and recommend appropriate interventions
Ensure proper pediatric dosing and medication management
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams
Participate in medication reconciliation and discharge planning
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Respond to drug information requests and clinical consultations
Support pharmacy operations and medication distribution
Document pharmacy interventions and patient care activities

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacy degree
Active Texas Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain
Prior Hospital Inpatient Pharmacy experience required
Pediatric pharmacy exposure required
Retail-only pharmacy experience will not be considered
Strong knowledge of inpatient medication management and pediatric pharmacotherapy
Ability to work independently on overnight shifts
