Grading | Utilities Project Manager - Rossville, GA

Talley Construction, a CRH Company, seeks an experienced construction project manager to oversee heavy civil projects across Chattanooga, North Georgia, and Northeast Alabama. The role focuses on planning, costing, scheduling, and coordination with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams. Responsibilities Read and interpret civil and architectural plans Process submittals and shop drawings Perform job costing and financial analysis (short‑ and long‑term forecasting) Prepare construction schedules (prefer experience in Microsoft Project) Compile and submit monthly billings and invoicing Process change orders and subcontractor billing Track material shipments Attend weekly meetings with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and Talley personnel Act as liaison between jobsite superintendent and office staff Analyze bid documents, plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand projects Solicit and manage subcontractor and vendor quotes Monitor and analyze costs versus bids during construction Must pass post‑offer drug screen Provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.S. Work may require field travel Field work experience required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction project management (sitework, grading, sewer, storm water, and water main projects) Associate’s degree preferred (Civil, Engineering, or Construction Management) Experience estimating and bidding on D.O.T. projects preferred Mandatory experience in project management and estimating Knowledge of take‑off software (Agtek Software Plus) preferred Knowledge of estimating software (HCSS HeavyBid Software Plus) preferred Mandatory Eligibility Mandates Must pass mandatory drug screen Must provide proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.S.; all new hires processed through E‑Verify Benefits Competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental, and disability benefits Group retirement savings program (401(k)) Paid time off Health and wellness programs Inclusive culture with growth, development, and internal promotion opportunities Talley Construction, a CRH Company, is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
