Location: In-Person (Scottsdale, AZ)

Office Requirement: Interns are required to complete all scheduled internship hours from our Scottsdale office. Remote work is not available for this position.

Duration: 12–16 weeks (based on the university academic calendar)

Hours: 8–10 hours per week (approximately 120–150 total hours)

Schedule: Internship schedules will be coordinated between the mentor and intern to support both academic commitments and internship learning objectives.

Partner Schools: Grand Canyon University (GCU) and other universities that permit unpaid academic-credit internships.

Please Note: Applicants must be able to reliably commute to our Scottsdale office throughout the semester.

We're looking for a motivated Influencer Marketing Intern who is excited to learn directly from experienced marketing professionals while gaining exposure to the day-to-day operations of a modern ecommerce agency.

This internship is designed primarily for the educational benefit of the student. Throughout the semester, interns participate in structured learning experiences, mentorship, observation, and supervised projects that complement their academic coursework. Interns do not replace paid employees, independently manage client work, or perform the routine responsibilities of agency staff.

What You'll Learn

Learning Activities

Throughout the internship, you may participate in supervised learning activities such as:

• Researching creators for marketing campaigns
• Building influencer prospecting lists
• Drafting outreach messages for mentor review
• Reviewing creator submissions alongside your mentor
• Learning product seeding and PR workflows
• Assisting with PR package preparation
• Participating in campaign brainstorming sessions
• Observing campaign planning and reporting processes
• Researching creator and social media trends
• Supporting educational marketing projects
• Assisting with affiliate marketing research
• Completing mentor-guided marketing projects

Please Note: Interns work alongside the Influencer Marketing team and will not independently manage client accounts, communicate directly with clients, negotiate partnerships, approve creators, make strategic campaign decisions, or perform work that would otherwise be assigned to a paid employee.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at Grand Canyon University (GCU) or another university that permits unpaid academic-credit internships
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Digital Media, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Available 8–10 hours per week throughout the semester
• Able to reliably commute to our Scottsdale office

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Interest in influencer marketing, ecommerce, or social media
• Experience creating content for personal, school, or club accounts
• Experience using Canva or similar creative tools
• Leadership experience through organizations, athletics, or volunteer work
• Basic understanding of influencer or affiliate marketing
