Lead Developer
Our client, a diversified financial services company providing banking and investing services, is seeking a Lead Developer for a 12 month contract role located in Jacksonville, FL; Lewisville, TX; or Charlotte, NC. This role is fully onsite. The Lead Developer is responsible for overseeing the analysis, programming, and configuration of IT Systems Software. This job develops complex software components and advises developers on best methods of software development and code creation. While working with the leadership team, this job provides project leadership for software development activities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Monitors development work to ensure resulting software meets established goals.
- Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.
- Identifies and analyzes business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System.
- Oversees the configuration, customization, diagnoses, and enhancements for operating systems software.
- Designs, codes and develops, and unit tests applications in accordance with established standards.
- Performs detailed design and code reviews and addresses findings appropriately.
- Purpose: Feature enhancements, technical debt reduction, API development, platform support.
Required Experience
- 5-8+ years development experience
- Experience supporting mission critical applications
- Agile/Scrum experience
Technical Skills
- Java Spring Boot and/or .NET Core
- React, Angular, or modern UI framework
- SQL development
- API development
- Microservices
- OpenShift
- Azure or AWS exposure
- Git, Jenkins
- Preferred Banking Experience
- Deposit systems
- Account opening
- Customer onboarding
- Product setup and maintenance
- Rates and pricing engines
- University degree preferred
Pay Rate- $76.01- $78.01/hour
