Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference supporting students’ success by providing expertise as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Columbia, SC. This full-time, contract position is ideal for dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact in elementary, middle, and high school environments. You’ll work collaboratively with a team of educators and other specialists, advocating for student well-being and supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid South Carolina School Psychologist credential (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Practical experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning in a K-12 setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Knowledge of special education guidelines, RTI/MTSS processes, and IEP participation
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentation
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school environment
  • Onsite availability beginning August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments and interpret results
  • Participate actively in student support teams, IEP meetings, and eligibility determinations
  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services for students
  • Develop and implement targeted intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
  • Maintain timely, thorough documentation and compliance with state/national guidelines

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week), with a single opening available. Specific caseload details will be shared soon. This onsite opportunity provides a rewarding environment alongside supportive colleagues—all in a community passionate about education.
