Position Overview Calibre Academy of Yuma is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused Instructional Support Specialist to support students and teachers in creating a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support. Assist students with assignments, organization, and classroom activities. Support student focus, behavior, and social-emotional needs as appropriate. Assist teachers with classroom preparation, materials, and activities. Help students with their online sessions. Support testing, field trips, school events, and other site activities. Communicate student concerns to teachers or school leadership. Maintain student confidentiality and follow all school policies and safety requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience working with children or adolescents preferred. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Patient, dependable, flexible, and positive. Ability to work with students of different ages and learning needs. Must successfully complete required background checks.
