Key Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide is a plus
• Comfortable supporting students with diverse abilities in elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate with certified educators and staff
• Compassionate and dedicated to fostering student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist students in special education classrooms, adapting materials and activities as directed by the teacher
• Provide one-on-one support or small group instruction under teacher supervision
• Help ensure a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and specialists
• Support students with daily activities, including transitions between classes and participation in learning tasks
• Encourage positive behavior and facilitate social interactions

Role Details and Schedule:

• Work with a K-12 caseload, offering variety and the chance to develop wide-ranging experience
• Choose between two schedule options: 7:30 AM–2:30 PM or 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
