CVICU Registered Nurse
Located between Denver and Grand Junction, Colorado on the I-70 Corridor.
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour night shift (1900 - 0730) including weekend rotation; must agree to be in the call rotation and take 1 call shift per 2-week period.
We are seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients while also being willing to cover the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This role will be vital in ensuring our community members receive treatment closer to home at our independent hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care and support to patients in the CVICU.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the medical staff.
- Assist in bedside procedures as needed.
- Participate in the hospital's call rotation as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Strong CVICU skills with Day 0 CVICU experience required.
- Colorado RN license in good standing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 3 years of RN critical care experience.
