Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Physician Opportunity

Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN is seeking a board certified or board eligible pulmonary and sleep medicine physician, with critical care training to join an established and collegial department. You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine: Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Outpatient pulmonary medicine and sleep schedule includes Monday - Friday, day hours. Inpatient pulmonary on call coverage at a newly renovated level III trauma center. The pulmonary and sleep medicine practice provides consults and management for a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep related disorders. Pulmonary specific responsibilities include pulmonary test interpretations, clinic and hospital-based consults, pulmonary procedures (including bronchoscopy and pleural based interventions). Sleep specific responsibilities include polysomnogram interpretation, management of sleep behavior disorders, parasomnias, insomnia and restless legs. Critical Care: Critical care medicine responsibilities include primary management of critically ill medical and surgical patients in a busy 15 bed ICU. Education opportunities are also available with rotating family medicine residents.

License or certification: Pulmonary credentials required. Strong preference for sleep medicine training. Flexibility in time allocation across patient care practices will be considered depending on interest and skill sets.
